Promoting of community-based renewable energy power plant is one of EforE’s missions aiming to utilize local renewable energy resources for generating electricity, to enhance national energy security, and to generate more income to local communities. Hydro potential as well as the strength of the community in Baan Mae Jo, Mae Tang District, Chiang Mai Province triggered EforE to develop the grid-connected pico hydro power plant in the form of cooperative.
